We left that identity unspecified because the festival and local coverage do not identify the figures as members of a particular Indigenous nation. The feathered headdresses suggest Indigenous cultures of the Americas, but assigning a specific identity from appearance alone could be inaccurate.

I love the fantasy of a sleeping dragon dozing in front of the quotidian building facade and the doorway that seems to be a portal to another world. The image makes you want to cross the threshold to see what it reveals on the other side.
