TinKicker puts Donald Trump in a wheelie bin

In The Trash Talker, Wexford artist TinKicker depicts Donald Trump rising from a wheelie bin, fist raised and a banana peel on his head. These three photographs show the satirical sculpture outside Teal House Gallery at 6 South Anne Street, Dublin 2.

The Trash Talker — TinKicker in Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪

Teal House Gallery describes the sculpture as satire on political power and the performance surrounding public figures. The gallery’s accompanying text reads: “The bin is Irish. The behaviour is universal.”

💡 Nerd Fact: According to Teal House Gallery, the sculpture had received hundreds of thousands of online views before it left TinKicker’s studio.

From St Mullins to Dublin

The Trash Talker was first unveiled on August 23, 2026, at Can-al Fest in St Mullins, County Carlow, in protest against Trump’s planned visit to Ireland. Teal House Gallery then announced a public unveiling in Dublin for 11 a.m. on September 12, 2026, with remarks from the artist and gallery.

About TinKicker

TinKicker is an Irish street artist from Wexford who works with stencils, sculpture and mixed media. In a 2011 interview with Irish Street Art, he credited his father with introducing him to graffiti and helping him paint his first street stencils. Teal House Gallery’s introduction describes his use of humor and familiar imagery to explore politics, media and contemporary culture. The gallery now represents him.

💡 Nerd Fact: The 2011 interview notes that TinKicker had been actively painting since the first Cans Festival in 2008. He named Banksy and Eelus as major influences and recalled meeting Eelus early in his career.
