Clay Nests, a Stone Hand and a Masked Turtle
In Florianópolis, horneros build clay nests in a woman’s hair, and in Pentedattilo a geometric hand lifts a stone into the night sky. Elsewhere a praying mantis stalks between pink and yellow pillars and a crowned skeleton climbs out of green smoke in Duisburg.

✊ Two Kids Who Won’t Back Down — RNST, Mareuil-lès-Meaux, France 🇫🇷
Two long-haired kids fill a red gable end under the words “MEME PAS CAP!”. One hides her face behind a gray bandana printed with teeth; the other, in a red eye mask and a skull “Rock’n Roll” T-shirt, shouts with a raised fist.
RNST, a Dijon-born stencil artist who started painting in the street in 2009, often paints masked children in rebellious poses. Here a real barred window sits right between the two.

🌅 A Copper-Haired Cyborg by the Sea — SKEM, Les Abymes, Guadeloupe 🇬🇵
A woman with copper-red curls and gray-toned skin glances to the side, a thin seam and two small dots on her cheek hinting that she is part machine. A sunset burns over the sea on the left, with blue swirls behind her.
SKEM moved to Guadeloupe in 2012 and is known for “XXL realism”, working out careful scaling methods so his large portraits hold up close.

🌸 A Geisha With Lowered Eyes — KDNS, Seville, Spain 🇪🇸
A geisha with lowered eyelids, red eye shadow and red lips fills a brick wall, her black hair crowded with flowers, beads and hanging ornaments. A red pagoda skyline rises behind her, and graffiti letters run off the right edge.
KDNS, a Badajoz-born writer based in Seville, also raps and co-founded the Full Love Graffiti Gallery, which runs graffiti jams.
💡 Nerd Fact: The Japanese word geisha literally means “art person”. The system is thought to have emerged in the 17th century to set professional entertainers apart from courtesans.

🌹 “The Last Bloom” — A Portrait With a Red Poppy — Laura Devita
A dark-haired woman with deep red lips glances down and to the side inside a black-framed panel below a gray brick wall. A red poppy opens beside her cheek, and the piece is signed “DeV 26” at the lower right.
The artist signs as Dev and is listed on Meeting of Styles as Laura Devita.
💡 Nerd Fact: Poppies spread across the Western Front because of the fighting itself. Artillery churned up the soil and created ideal conditions for the red poppy, which is how it became the flower of remembrance.

🤍 “Robe” — A Gray Portrait With Flowing Hair — Poke, A Estrada, Spain 🇪🇸
An older man with long, wind-swept gray hair tilts his head back and smiles with his eyes almost shut. The grayscale portrait fills a recessed wall section under two electrical boxes, signed “@poke_graf Poke 26” in the corner.
Painted on Rúa Pérez Viondi in A Estrada, in Galicia’s Pontevedra province.

🌙 “La Notte di San Lorenzo” — A Hand Holding a Stone Under the Stars — Basik, Pentedattilo, Italy 🇮🇹
A giant geometric hand in reds and oranges rises against a deep blue night, holding a silver stone between its fingers. A gold star and a crescent moon hang on either side, with “MDCCXXXVI” lettered at the lower left.
Basik, a Rimini-based writer whose figurative work focuses on hand gestures, painted it for Tra le mani di pietra, held August 18–29, 2026, where each artist took a theme tied to one of five fingers. The village’s name comes from the Greek for “five fingers,” after the hand-shaped rock above it.

🎨 A Masked Painter Spilling Green — 3TOP, Nowa Sól, Poland 🇵🇱
A figure in a green hood and angular mask sits with a can that leaks a thin green stream onto a paint roller below. The piece is signed “3TOP FOD”, and neighboring works from the same green jam wall show at both edges.
It went up at Fight or Die, a graffiti jam that brings dozens of artists from Poland and abroad to Nowa Sól, near Stare Żabno on the edge of town.

🐢 A Masked Turtle in a Glowing Alley — Drast, Brive-la-Gaillarde, France 🇫🇷
A huge turtle head in a blue mask glares out from a purple wall beside a nighttime back alley. Green ooze drips from a pipe onto wet ground, a rat perches on a trash can, and a yellow “DRAST” tag sits at the upper right.

🐺 A Snarling Wolf and a Pointed-Eared Girl — Amado Skills + Dyca, Flero, Italy 🇮🇹
A snarling gray wolf with bared fangs faces a dark-haired young woman with elf-like pointed ears and a small star on her forehead. The mint-green and orange scene runs along a concrete barrier, with the two artists sitting on the wall above.
Both were on the lineup for Street View Jam Vol. 5, run by Artcòre Crew with Meeting of Styles on September 19–20, 2026, along Via Coler in Flero, just outside Brescia.

🐦 “The Sky Will Have No Owner” — Horneros Nesting in Her Hair — Patrícia Mariano, Florianópolis, Brazil 🇧🇷
A woman in profile gazes upward while horneros build clay nests in her dark hair and more birds flutter around her. A lace collar sits at her neck, and a ribbon below reads “Enquanto houver pássaros o céu não terá dono.”
It was painted for Street Art Floripa on Rua Stuttgart in Córrego Grande. The line comes from Mozambican author Mia Couto: as long as there are birds, the sky will have no owner. The nests stand for culture making a home inside us, and the Azorean lace links Portugal with southern Brazil.
💡 Nerd Fact: A rufous hornero’s mud nest weighs about 4.3 kilograms on average, built by both partners. In Argentina, primary school students picked the hornero as the national bird in 1928.

☀️ The Sun and the Moon Side by Side — Chunga
A golden masked figure crowned with sun rays stands beside a pale veiled woman in a crown of white roses, while a crescent moon with a face curves behind her. The photo pairs the full wall under a tiled roof with a close-up.
Chunga is Jesús Capetillo, a large-format graphic artist based in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

🦗 A Giant Praying Mantis — Erika Rosendale, San Jose, California, USA 🇺🇸
A metallic green praying mantis stalks across leafy branches between glowing orange globes, on a wall framed by bright pink and yellow pillars. A woman stands beside the finished mural with her arms crossed, showing its scale.
Rosendale, raised in Santa Cruz and now based in Portland, Oregon, paints native wildlife to push for environmental stewardship.
💡 Nerd Fact: The praying mantis is the only insect known to have stereo vision. Newcastle University researchers fitted mantises with tiny 3D glasses stuck on with beeswax and found they judge depth by spotting where an image changes, not by matching details as we do.

🌺 A Woman Under a Wide Sombrero — Chelsea Lewinski, Denver, Colorado, USA 🇺🇸
A young woman with braids and silver earrings looks up from under a wide, ornately trimmed sombrero. Big pink flowers, drifting petals, cactus pads and oranges fill the warm golden wall around her.
Street Wise Arts calls Lewinski one of the most respected names in Denver street art, with a focus on emotion-filled portraits at every scale.

💀 A Crowned Skeleton With a Spray Can — Mister Oreo, Duisburg, Germany 🇩🇪
A skeleton in a spiked crown and hooded cloak clutches a spray can as it rises out of billowing lime-green smoke. A small golden halo floats above its head, and the signature sits at the lower left.

🖤 “Cassandra” — A Striped Figure Wrapped in Red Calligraphy — Kris Rizek, Mottafollone, Italy 🇮🇹
A woman built from white parallel lines tilts her head back with a hand at her chest, as a cloak of red-and-black calligraphy wraps around her. Darker lettering covers the rest of the tall facade.
White stripes on dark backgrounds are one of the trademarks of the Puglia artist, who came up through graffiti and skating in the early 1990s. He painted it for Pulpa Festival, whose 2026 edition drew on Greek myths, a fit for the Trojan prophet nobody believed.

🦅 “Ode aan Lelystad” — Two Birds of Prey and a Yellow Sun — Joram Roukes + Sidney Waerts, Lelystad, Netherlands 🇳🇱
A turquoise bird of prey swoops down with its talons out while a crimson-and-gray falcon grips a branch above, both set against a big yellow sun. The mural covers a whole building side above a restaurant terrace.
The city commissioned it from two artists who both grew up in Lelystad, and they drew on the Oostvaardersplassen, the nature reserve just outside town. You’ll find it at Agoraweg 11.

🖱️ “Classic Tropical” — A Face Crossed by Strips of Blue Sky — rudsclas, Tidung Island, Indonesia 🇮🇩
A young woman with a black bob and an orange flower in her hair gazes out from a big orange sun. Strips of blue sky cut across her face, among a pixel cloud, a mouse cursor, a small crown and red coral.

🤍 A Scribbled Portrait Under a Stone Arch — S.W.A.L.T, Lausanne, Switzerland 🇨🇭
A black-and-white portrait of a woman fills a wooden gate inside a stone arch, with tags and scribbles showing through her face. Loose wooden slats hang over her forehead, and pale lettering runs across her bare shoulder.
The Geneva-based painter first covers a wall in layers of gray tags and throw-ups, then paints a portrait that lets those layers show. This one went up for Funky Town Jam with Decospray on Passage des Saugettes.

🚀 A Girl in an Astronaut Helmet — Basicolors, Weert, Netherlands 🇳🇱
Seen from behind, a girl in a crop top and blue jeans wears a white astronaut helmet with cat ears and holds a pale blue flower behind her back. Cream letters spell “YOU CAN FLY” across the red pillar.
The pillar belongs to Het Zuilenkabinet, which turned the 27 concrete columns under the Boshoverbrug into a graffiti gallery, beside Houtstraat.
