👻 “Home is Where the Haunt is” — A Wide-Eyed Figure Among Green Creatures — Birdcap + Casey Kawaguchi, Greeley, Colorado, USA 🇺🇸
A pale, wide-eyed figure in a red shirt throws up both hands as green creatures with bulging eyes and lolling tongues crowd in from both sides. One of them pokes a yellow-tipped stick toward the figure’s shoulder.
Memphis muralist Birdcap and Denver-based Casey Kawaguchi are both in the WeldWalls 2026 lineup. The festival’s third edition had artist teams painting in public on 16th Street in downtown Greeley from September 15 to 19.

⚔️ A Braided Fighter in a Red Halo — itszbitsz, Bronx, New York, USA 🇺🇸
A young woman with a long black braid and gold hoop earrings grips a short blade and stares straight out of the wall. A red disc frames her head, and “ZIREN” runs across the shoulder of her dark jacket.
It was painted for the twelfth edition of Boone Avenue Walls, the Bronx graffiti event founded and directed by Wen Cod, which added dozens of walls in Mott Haven this year. This one is on St. Ann’s Avenue.

A brown-haired girl looks out from under a heavy silver helmet, her armor breaking into a pile of mechanical plates with orange joints. The wider view shows the full collaboration running along a low wall by the sidewalk.

🌺 A Spray Can, Graffiti Letters and Dark Red Flowers — Le Môme + Alone, Valence, France 🇫🇷

⚾ A Grimacing Batter in a Turquoise Cap — Mr. Pencil, Naples, Italy 🇮🇹
A cartoon batter in a turquoise cap and striped jacket clenches his teeth and grips a wooden bat over his shoulder. A small yellow crown floats above an orange sun, and Japanese characters run down the right side.
The characters spell “Mr. Pencil” in Japanese. He painted it for Back to the Style Graffiti Jam on Via Cupa Starza in Bagnoli, the street by Parco Totò where the jam has painted in past editions.
💡 Nerd Fact: A pencil’s “lead” has never contained lead. Britannica traces the name to an unusually pure graphite deposit found in 1564 in Borrowdale, England, which people then took for a type of lead.

🪽 A Red and Black Bird Spreads Across the Balconies — DISH, Linda-a-Velha, Portugal 🇵🇹
A red, black and gray bird with a hooked beak opens its wings over a white facade. Splashes of feathers run around three columns of recessed balconies, and pale gray wing tips fade out near the ground.

🍇 “Satyr playing with eros” — A Satyr Holds Grapes Over Eros — ORKA
A young satyr crowned with vine leaves holds a bunch of grapes above a winged infant on his lap. The golden figures glow against a black concrete wall, with trees above and dry grass at its foot.
ORKA based the composition on a marble by the Greek sculptor Yannoulis Chalepas (also spelled Halepas, 1851–1938), now at the National Glyptotheque in Athens.
💡 Nerd Fact: Chalepas carved “Satyr Playing with Eros” in 1877, the first of 12 related works. His satyr is a teenager rather than the usual ugly old man; only a short tail, pointed ears and two tiny horns give him away.

🦊 A Fox Mask, a Plush Fox and Two Glasses of Juice — Anna Aho, Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮
A young person in a teal T-shirt and a red fox mask sits cross-legged, stirring a glass of red juice. A plush fox with its own glass sits opposite, in front of white wallpaper flowers on a yellow facade.
Aho painted it in August with Helsinki Urban Art at Kanneltie 8 in Kannelmäki, where Emilia Lehikoinen painted a second mural at the same address. The school next door inspired the two friends, and the wallpaper pattern was painted with a stencil.

🦇 A Bat Hangs From a Hooded Figure’s Finger — Veneno, Evere, Brussels, Belgium 🇧🇪
A hooded figure in a puffer jacket, face hidden behind a mask, holds up one finger for a bat to hang from. The black-and-white linework sits on a big yellow disc, like a print enlarged across the wall.
Veneno signed it for Racines Festival, whose third edition brought about 40 graffiti artists to Evere from September 4 to 12, 2026. Veneno is a member of CNN199, a Brussels crew whose names have been on walls since 1989.

🐦 “When The Blues Start To Add Up” — A Man in an Armchair Between Two Blue Birds — Krimsone, Venlo, Netherlands 🇳🇱
A man in a cap and orange jacket sits in a red armchair with his hands clasped between his knees. Two blue birds perch beside him, a leaded-glass lamp glows at right, and purple wallpaper covers the tall facade.
The mural is at Klokkengietersstraat 108 in Venlo and was curated by local graffiti artist Vincent Huibers.
💡 Nerd Fact: Many of the best-known Tiffany lamps were not designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany himself. Clara Driscoll conceived designs such as the Dragonfly and Wisteria, a role that came to light through her letters home and a 2007 New-York Historical Society exhibition.

🍏 “Bodegón de antaño” — A Gray Still Life Fills a Gable — Facio + Mohamed L’Ghacham, Cascais, Portugal 🇵🇹
A shiny metal jug, a bunch of grapes, an apple and a dotted ceramic pitcher crowd a draped table. The whole still life is gray and white, built from fine lines and dots against a black backdrop.
Facio, from Argentina, and Mohamed L’Ghacham, from Morocco, were one of four artist pairs at the eighth Infinito Festival, run by the youth association Somos Torre in Cascais’s Torre neighborhood from September 7 to 14. The wall is at R. do Coral 76. Photo by Afonso Guerreiro.

🪡 “ZLATOVEZ” — A Gold Thread Pulled Toward a White Star — Marija Šoln (Marg), Šavnik, Montenegro 🇲🇪
A woman in a green and red embroidered dress lies back with her head tipped up, her eyes turned into ornate gold discs. Green hands pull a fine thread from her face toward a sharp white star on the magenta gable.
Šoln painted it for the first Mural Lab Šavnik, organized by Art 365, which left six new murals in the small Montenegrin town in September 2026. The organizers say “Zlatovez” starts from Montenegrin women’s folk dress and a golden thread linking past, present and future. It is her third mural in Šavnik.
