🌊 “Vague à l’âme”: A Ghost Ship in Turquoise Water — By RBK1 in Paris, France 🇫🇷

A spectral figurehead cuts through rough water ahead of a ragged ghost ship. The ship yields to the wind, but the figurehead keeps looking ahead.

💡 What We Could Verify: The French expression vague à l’âme describes a feeling of melancholy with no precise cause. The title also plays on une vague, French for “a wave.”

🎨 A Purple Figure Aims a Spray Can — By SQWR / Skewer in London, UK 🇬🇧

A purple figure aims a spray can from the gable while SQWR lettering wraps the adjoining wall. The artist captioned the finished work “PSHHHT”.

Painted at 82 Rivington Street, opposite Banksy’s “Designated Graffiti Area,” with the wall arranged by London Calling Blog.

🗣️ “Speak All Good, See All Good, Hear All Good” — By Efren Rebugio Jr. / Everyday Research in West Memphis, Arkansas, USA 🇺🇸

Rebugio turns the familiar “Speak No Evil, See No Evil, Hear No Evil” motif into a positive instruction. He says the 47-by-20-foot mural asks viewers to reflect on what they choose to focus on.

🧱 Tláloc, Portraits and a UFO on One Long Wall — By Bowen, Re Maik, Emmanuel Cortes Rivera, RZZL Graff Studio & Hinojoza Art in Atlixco, Puebla, Mexico 🇲🇽

The artists based the mural on the festival theme of pre-Hispanic Mexico and Atlixco’s myths and legends. In their explanation of the mural, Tláloc faces a figure linked to Atlixco’s earlier Indigenous name. A UFO and the fragmented face of a Spaniard refer to later local history and lore.

👼 “Putto di Porcellana” Floats Across the Gable — By Nacle in Morlaix, France 🇫🇷

Nacle describes “Putto di Porcellana” as a reflection on the preciousness and fragility of childhood. The silver figure floats over a deep blue field patterned with motifs borrowed from luxury design.

🦅 Louhi Takes the Form of an Eagle — By Polina Soloveichik in Kajaani, Finland 🇫🇮

Soloveichik’s mural depicts Louhi from the Finnish national epic Kalevala in eagle form. Her wings extend around windows and balconies in the artist’s signature blue palette.

💡 What We Could Verify: In Runo 43 of the Kalevala, Louhi takes eagle form after Väinämöinen wrecks her warship on a reef during the pursuit. She forms the eagle’s wings and tail from the broken vessel. In eagle form, Louhi carries one hundred swordsmen beneath one wing and one thousand archers on her tail as she attacks the boat holding the stolen Sampo.

🔥 Hellboy Steps Between the Letter Pieces — By Pupupums, Shub 110 & Romain Didierjean in Chambéry, France 🇫🇷

🕯️ A Cologne Wall Remembers PERSO — By CanTwo, Omeria & Kont One in Cologne, Germany 🇩🇪

CanTwo describes the central character as a tribute to Australian graffiti writer PERSO, whom he had met and painted with in Sydney 23 years earlier. Blue-and-white pieces by Omeria and Kont One frame the memorial.

The larger jam was painted at Hall of Fame Kalkberg on Karlsruher Straße, one of the legal walls listed by the City of Cologne.

🌺 “BLOOM UP” Fills the Blue Wall With Flowers — By Nitram Joke in Vernier, Switzerland 🇨🇭

A woman lifts her hand beside oversized blue and pink flowers. Nitram Joke says “BLOOM UP” was the first time he painted one of his characters at this scale.

The 7-by-10-metre work was painted during Subway Burners in August 2026 for House of Paint at Route de Vernier 106.

🖼️ “Łąka Festynowa” Recalls a Lost Gathering Place — By Marek “Looney” Rybowski in Gdańsk, Poland 🇵🇱

“Łąka Festynowa” recalls the former Festival Meadow in Jaśkowa Dolina Park, once directly beside the building. A young woman and a boy with a dog are painted in muted tones against the mostly monochrome historical scene. Well-dressed figures walk in the background.

Completed in May 2026 at Jaśkowa Dolina 74. The City of Gdańsk reports that the building’s residents funded the mural during the facade renovation.

🐯 A Tiger Pushes Through the Leaves — By Gian.ba1 in Wiesbaden, Germany 🇩🇪

A tiger’s face fills the tiled wall, peering through dense tropical leaves. In his post about the mural, Gian.ba1 says it draws on ancestral spirit and presents Ai Apaec as a protector and guide. He writes that strength comes from balance with nature.

💡 What We Could Verify: “Ai Apaec” is a modern archaeological label, not a name securely traced to Moche times. A linguistic and archaeological study traced aiapac, meaning “maker,” to a 1644 Catholic text in which it is used as a title for the Christian God. The Moche figure’s original name remains unknown.

Painted in July 2026 at Welfenstraße 1b, the former Kontext cultural center.
