💡 What We Could Verify: The title refers to the confirmed exoplanet Kepler-1638 b. NASA’s Exoplanet Archive lists its radius as 1.87 times Earth’s and its orbital period as 259.34 days; its host star is roughly 5,000 light-years away.

🐸 Creatures and Letters Climb the Gable — By JahOne, Magiic Art’s & Bwkle cess in Paimpol, France 🇫🇷

Two creatures rise above layers of turquoise and silver lettering. The steep gable turns the mural into a triangular composition.

The mural was painted on Rue Park Mezilis for Meeting of Styles France 2026, held in Paimpol from August 21 to 23. TSFcrew and D6 Project produced the local event, and Magiic Art’s credits JahOne and Bwkle cess as collaborators.

💡 What We Could Verify: Meeting of Styles began in Wiesbaden in 1997 as the International Wall Street Meeting, organized after plans were announced to demolish the Schlachthof graffiti site. The International Meeting of Styles Network was founded in 2002.

Mirrored blue lenses dominate this large portrait of a woman. JNU01 dates the work to June 2026. Street Art Cities records it at Calle de la Condesa de Venadito 5B in Madrid’s Ciudad Lineal district.

💡 What We Could Verify: JNU01 is Madrid-based artist Jorge Nuño. In a 2022 interview, he said he was working as a lawyer and had begun painting graffiti at 13 or 14.

🕊️ An Armored Red Creature Bursts Across the Wall — By WON ABC in Emden, Germany 🇩🇪

A red, many-limbed creature in armor fills the wall, surrounded by missiles, shattered objects and a white dove. In his post about the mural, WON ABC calls it a statement against violence toward people and animals. He also quotes Kurt Tucholsky’s antiwar line, “Soldiers are murderers.”

WON ABC painted it on August 12, 2026, on Am Tonnenhof for Hit the Trog Emden.

💡 What We Could Verify: Tucholsky first published “Soldiers are murderers” in a 1931 article. Attempts to prosecute Die Weltbühne editor Carl von Ossietzky over the line failed in 1932 and 1933. The quotation was also central to a 1995 free-speech ruling by Germany’s Federal Constitutional Court.

🌸 A Woman Reaches Through the Flowers — By Nats Garu in Vergara, Cundinamarca, Colombia 🇨🇴

A magenta woman reaches across the facade toward a glowing orb while blue foliage and pink flowers rise around her. Nats Garu introduced the mural with a line that translates as “Together we cultivate flowers of rebellion.”

The mural was created for Sua Cubun – El color de nuestras raíces, an international community mural festival held July 25–31, 2026, in Vergara, Cundinamarca, and organized by Hijos del Sol.

💡 What We Could Verify: A festival post translates Sua Cubun as “Voice of the Sun” in Muysca, an Indigenous language native to Cundinamarca. The language was banned in 1770, later classified as extinct, and is now being revitalized by Muisca communities in Bogotá.

🔴 “The Red Lady” Holds a Spray Can Between the Letters — By Arsek & Erase in Emden, Germany 🇩🇪

A red-skinned woman grips a spray can between the duo’s broad letterforms. Pencils are woven into her braids, while barbed wire and electric-blue spray smoke surround her, all rendered in a comic-book style.

Arsek & Erase titled the mural The Red Lady. They painted it on Am Tonnenhof for the August 14–16, 2026 edition of Hit the Trog Emden.

💡 What We Could Verify: Arsek and Erase say they began by copying graffiti they saw at an abandoned site into their school notebooks. The pair began painting in Stara Zagora in 2000.

🕊️ A Woman Stands Among Flowers and Red Birds — By Kateryna Tuz in Uzhhorod, Ukraine 🇺🇦

Uzhhorod-based artist Kateryna Tuz painted a barefoot woman in a long dress among magnolia-like flowers and two red birds, with fine architectural line drawings behind her.

💡 What We Could Verify: Tuz studied economics and worked as an interior designer before becoming a muralist. She also says she paints with both hands, switching when one becomes tired.

🪿 “Tjejen med gåsen”: A Girl Runs With a Goose — By Snork One in Bollnäs, Sweden 🇸🇪

Snork One calls the mural Tjejen med gåsen (“The Girl with the Goose”). Its fictional heroine, Maiken, runs away from a life that does not suit her, carrying the farm’s biggest goose under one arm. The story draws on Hälsingland’s history of flax production and farm life.

Snork One painted it during Hälsingewall, held August 21–23, 2026, beneath the viaduct between McDonald’s and Bollnäs City Hall. The mural is at Våggatan 4.

💡 What We Could Verify: UNESCO says income from flax and woodland helped make Hälsingland’s decorated farmhouses unusually large. Some had entire buildings or suites used only for festivities, and seven now form a World Heritage property.

🌺 A Turquoise Face Beneath a Crown of Flowers — By Fin DAC in London, England 🇬🇧

A woman’s turquoise face fills the dark brick wall beneath a crown of bright flowers. Fin DAC says he painted the flowers and photorealistic elements in his signature spray-paint “spitting” style.

Fin DAC describes it as his first wall of 2026 and a return to a wall he first painted around 12 years earlier. The mural is at Loft Studios, 77–81 Scrubs Lane, with support from JG Contemporary.

💡 What We Could Verify: “DAC” in Fin DAC’s name stands for Dragon Armoury Creative, the name of his personal online portfolio before he became a full-time artist. It is also why he signs his work with a dragon logo.

🪲 “Abyssus” Stretches 28 Meters Up the Tower — By Liqen in Vigo, Spain 🇪🇸

A long-limbed blue figure stretches across corrugated fiber-cement sheeting in Abyssus. Liqen says the mural is approximately 28 meters high and took seven days to paint.

💡 What We Could Verify: Liqen describes the human form in Abyssus as a screen or reflection that draws attention to details outside the established order. He says the piece reflects his interest in the strange and the abyssal.

🤖 “Le Chat Non Négligeable” Reaches for a Parked Volkswagen Beetle — By HMI in Evere, Belgium 🇧🇪

💡 What We Could Verify: HMI is Fouad Hachmi, who conceived the Racines Festival. Its official history says he moved to Evere at age ten, encountered hip-hop culture there in 1983 and began painting graffiti at fourteen or fifteen.

🏃 Runners Charge Toward a Warped Reflection in “Shukher!” — By Versus Flow & Dyoma21 in Ryazan, Russia 🇷🇺

Runners charge toward a mirror-like seam, where their bodies bend and repeat. Blocks of red, blue and violet surround them.

Versus Flow identifies the 2026 collaboration as Шухер! (Shukher!) and gives the location as Internatsionalnaya Street 11B in Ryazan.

💡 What We Could Verify: The Russian title Шухер! comes from criminal slang for a police raid or house search. It can also colloquially mean turmoil, confusion, noise or a mess. The word was borrowed from Yiddish zukher, meaning “searcher.”
