🐧 A Boy and a Puffin Wear Each Other’s Masks — By Seth Globepainter in Kollafjørður, Faroe Islands 🇫🇴

In Seth’s completed mural, a boy in Faroese national dress wears a puffin mask and offers a sand eel to a puffin wearing a human mask.

💡 Nerd Fact: Atlantic puffins use a spiny tongue to press captured sand eels against the roof of the mouth. This lets a parent carry ten or more fish at once to its single chick.

Seth created it for We Need Art in 2026. The mural is at Í Líðini, Kollafjørður.

🕶️ Snoop Dogg in Electric Blue Glasses — By Alex Shot106 in Italy 🇮🇹

The portrait is almost entirely black and white, apart from the electric-blue reflections in his glasses. In his post showing the finished wall, Alex Shot106 identifies Snoop Dogg as the subject and mentions the CDP family.

🌿 “The Encounter” Mixes Plant and Animal Forms — By Anaïs Lera in Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦

“The Encounter” shows an imagined ecosystem where a lizard and a butterfly are made from both plant and animal forms. The 17-by-75-foot mural was painted in acrylic and spray paint for the 2025 ASTRO Mural Festival.

Lera painted it at 165 W 4th Ave for Astro Club Artist Facility and Opal Projects.

🪶 Blue Feathers Frame the Portrait — By Wesley Rocha in São Gonçalo do Amarante, Brazil 🇧🇷

Blue feathers, native plants and geometric marks frame a portrait based on a visual reference by Indigenous creator Yãkurixi Xipaya.

In his post about the mural, Rocha connects the work to São Gonçalo do Amarante’s Indigenous roots and the Anacé people’s continuing cultural resistance. It was painted on a building intended as a cultural center on Rua Ester Martins.

🖤 “Virgen” — By Kovenz in José C. Paz, Argentina 🇦🇷

In his post for “Virgen”, Kovenz says he used only aerosol paint for the portrait and dedicated it to his grandmother, Rosa. The portrait forms the left side of a larger collaboration with Dame and Gordone in José C. Paz.

🕷️ Spider-Man Breaks Through the Letters — By Efraín Orellana (TNT) in San Salvador, El Salvador 🇸🇻

Spider-Man pushes through red-and-blue graffiti letters, with webs and sharp highlights across the character and lettering.

Orellana painted it during Chrome Wars’ Graffiti Battle Royale, a live free-for-all held at Monumento Hermano Bienvenido a Casa. In his “Battle time” post, he credits photographer Carlos Pérez.

🐎 A Cartujano Horse Beneath a Golden Sky — By Fran Castro (Cosa V) in Jerez, Spain 🇪🇸

A pale Cartujano horse stands beneath shafts of golden light, with the Cartuja de Jerez and Puente de la Cartuja behind it. According to local reporting, the mural is almost 13 meters high.

💡 Nerd Fact: The Cartujano is a strain within the Pura Raza Española, not a separate breed. A pedigree-and-genome study found that only seven ancestors account for half of the PRE’s genetic variability; all seven were 100 percent Carthusian.

Castro documented the seven-day painting process. The mural was part of a City of Jerez mural program and stands at Calle la Paquera de Jerez 17 in La Asunción.

🌸 “Home” in Pink-and-White Folds — By Lionel David in Winterthur, Switzerland 🇨🇭

A resting figure blends into folds of pink-and-white fabric. In his post for “Home”, Lionel David says the fabric refers to Winterthur’s textile history and that the work explores arriving, letting go and feeling at home.

David created it in 2026 for House of Winterthur’s annual project on the Bahnmeisterweg wall.

✋ “Silicio,” an Extra-Fingered Hand — By Basik in Rignano Garganico, Italy 🇮🇹

An extra-fingered hand shapes a piece of flint. Basik explains that the unusual anatomy echoes early AI image errors, while the flint’s silicon dioxide connects Paleolithic toolmaking to the silicon behind modern microchips.

💡 Nerd Fact: The semiconductor material in a conventional silicon chip is elemental silicon, not silicon dioxide. Electronics-grade silicon is made by thermally decomposing ultra-pure trichlorosilane and then recrystallizing it; tiny additions of boron or phosphorus control its electrical properties.

🌳 “Nature Immersion” Layers Figures, Plants and Birds — By DOPPEL in Kajaani, Finland 🇫🇮

Three moments of an embrace overlap among berries, flowers and birds. In his post for the mural, DOPPEL says “Nature Immersion” was inspired by local flora and fauna. Concreate’s page for the mural says the composition explores nature’s cycle and was based on a photograph of the artist’s friend.

DOPPEL created it for Concreate Urban Art 2026, organized by Helsinki Urban Art, at Koulukuja 5b.

🌺 “Still life” Wraps Around the Cylinder — By Fintan Magee & Abdul Abdullah in Limassol, Cyprus 🇨🇾

“Still life” covers the concrete cylinder with a flower-filled pitcher, a ceramic tiger, a large bird and the white outline of a cat.

ETKO Cyprus invited the artists to create the mural at 31 Tsiflikoudia in 2026. Fintan Magee documented the collaboration.

📦 “Your order is being delivered” Across Two Facades — By Millo in Blois, France 🇫🇷

On one end of the U-shaped Jules-Ferry residence, a blue-clad courier carries a yellow parcel containing a red heart to a green door. On the opposite wall, another figure opens the parcel and receives the heart. Millo says residents chose the design from two proposals.

The 192-square-meter diptych was painted across two gables of the social-housing complex at 29 Place Jules Ferry, with production by Unik Art Agency.

🔥 “Between a Rock and a Hot Place” — By Li-Hill in Ilford, London, UK 🇬🇧

A dark-clad figure repeats across the wall, moving from orange heat toward fractured pale rock. The pedestrians below show the mural’s scale.

Li-Hill says the title began as a pun when he was asked what the work meant. He painted it live on August 15–16 during Ilford inColour 2026. The wall is on High Road between Popeyes and Boots, and Wood Street Walls helped deliver the festival.
