🪶 “Glitch3d_G4rza.exe” — KAOS in El Carpio, Córdoba, Spain 🇪🇸

The purple heron is broken into bands of cyan, magenta, yellow and violet across a white facade. Real windows cut through the bird and its colored glitch bars.

Created for ELEVARTE 2026. KAOS’s post about the finished mural identifies the bird and traces its inspiration to the Guadalquivir basin.

A local report published during the event calls the work Garza_ErrorData.exe, while its later Liga Nacional entry records Glitch3d_G4rza.exe.

A later mural listing gives the address as Calle Morente 60.

💡 What We Could Verify: A 2011 census recorded 5,379 breeding pairs of purple herons in Spain, with 70% concentrated in the Guadalquivir marshes. Iberian birds generally winter in sub-Saharan Africa.

🌊 “DRIFT” — ZABOU on O’Brien’s Terrace in Waterford, Ireland 🇮🇪

Jazmin floats on her back in grayscale water, her face turned upward. White ripples and foam run along the dark wall around her.

Created for Waterford Walls 2026, managed by The Walls Project. ZABOU’s finished-work post names the model and gives the mural’s dimensions as 5 × 3 m. The official festival map places it on O’Brien’s Terrace.

💡 What We Could Verify: ZABOU uses photography as part of her mural process. In a 2021 interview, she explained that painting directly from photographs—sometimes without a preliminary sketch—helped her develop her realistic portrait style.

👁️ “Azul Profundo” — Joni Daes in Campillos, Spain 🇪🇸

Joni Daes shared the finished wall on August 9, 2026. Its later official competition entry records the title, places it in Campillos, Málaga, and lists it in Jornada 7 of Liga Nacional de Graffiti 2026.

💡 What We Could Verify: Jornada 7 was one of seven qualifying rounds in a cumulative national competition. Under the official 2026 rules, points contributed to a single season ranking. Three judges assessed technique, originality and style, while public voting could add one point to the top ten figurative entries and top five lettering entries.

📻 “Blast the Ghetto” — Cors One in Ludwigsfelde, Germany 🇩🇪

💡 What We Could Verify: The “break” in breaking refers to a song’s instrumental break. A Smithsonian Libraries catalog summary links the dance’s early history to the 1970s Bronx and notes that DJ Kool Herc called dancers who reacted to breakbeats “b-boys” and “b-girls.”

👋 Untitled Abe (Oddworld) Mural — IsmaelJF — Location Unconfirmed

Abe, the Mudokon protagonist of several Oddworld games, peers through a circular hatch while “HELLO” and “FOLLOW ME” echo the game’s GameSpeak commands.

💡 What We Could Verify: GameSpeak is part of the controls. Oddworld’s official instructions explain that players use it to get another Mudokon’s attention and make the worker follow Abe, so speech is part of the rescue mechanic.

IsmaelJF included this mural in a post featuring two walls on July 22, 2026. No formal title, event, city or street address was given, so the exact location remains unconfirmed.

🦴 “Sudden bliss” — NYCHOS in Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹

A creature moves across a yellow-and-black background, with its outer plates, muscles and skeleton pulled apart.

NYCHOS posted the finished wall on June 16, 2026 and called it Sudden bliss. A StreetArtPedia post of the same wall places it along Vienna’s Donaukanal, though the exact spot is not given.

💡 What We Could Verify: NYCHOS says his name comes from Deinonychus, whose name means “terrible claw.” In the same 2014 interview, he said he had been writing “Nychos” for about 15 years.

🎭 “DISOCIATIVO” — Duek Glez & Fresa Bogotá in Morelia, Mexico 🇲🇽

💡 What We Could Verify: The related Spanish verb disociar means to separate something from what it was joined to.

The mural was painted for Futura A.C.’s 15th-anniversary urban-art festival in Morelia. The official call lists the dates as August 14–16, 2026.

🛁 A Traditional Ritual for Bathing a Newborn — Daniela Guerreiro in Cotonou, Benin 🇧🇯

A woman bathes a newborn while another woman and a child sit nearby. Guerreiro says the scene is based on a traditional ceremony for bathing a newborn, a ritual of love and care in which the community welcomes a new child.

💡 What We Could Verify: Bénin Tourism says Marina Boulev’Art Gallery aims to become the world’s longest graffiti wall. Its murals cover ancestral traditions, national history and contemporary issues.

Painted in April 2026, the work also appears in Guerreiro’s Cotonou portfolio. In the same Instagram post, she describes it as one section of a collaborative mural stretching more than two kilometres. Bénin Tourism identifies the project as Marina Boulev’Art Gallery, a linear open-air gallery along Boulevard de la Marina.

🏢 Ten Storeys, One Shared Roof — Marco Brzozowski in Schwedt/Oder, Germany 🇩🇪

The ten-storey gable is painted as a stack of open balconies. Its figures show Schwedt residents of different ages and backgrounds, with scenes of volunteering, conservation, culture, sport, crafts and industry.

Commissioned by WOBAG Schwedt for Lindenallee 64–70. WOBAG’s official project record says the mural was inaugurated on August 6, 2025, under the theme “Wir alle wohnen unter einem Dach”—“We all live under one roof.”

💡 What We Could Verify: Bird nesting boxes were also installed on the building through the “Viva la Fauna” programme, and WOBAG received a plaque for supporting it.

🤖 “Mecha Monster Woman” — Migel in Karawang, Indonesia 🇮🇩

🔥 Orange Portrait Across a Facade — J2 in Bogotá, Colombia 🇨🇴
