From a seat on Jupiter to a workshop full of wooden toys

💀 “MEMENTO VIVERE” — A Cyborg Holds a Faceted Skull — MARIA (Caktus & Maria), Rignano Garganico, Italy 🇮🇹
A lavender-and-blue cyborg in profile holds a turquoise, faceted skull against a brilliant blue wall. Golden mechanical details circle her ear and temple, while pale hair falls behind her and a metal glove frames the skull.
MARIA (Maria Checchia), of the duo Caktus & Maria, painted “Memento Vivere” for Paleolitica Street Fest. Museo Paglicci explains that the cyborg represents contemporary humanity, while the faceted skull connects it to the area’s prehistoric roots at Grotta Paglicci. The title, “Remember to live,” turns the familiar memento mori toward human connection in a digitally connected but often isolated world.
💡 Nerd Fact: Grotta Paglicci also preserves evidence of prehistoric food processing. A study of a stone pestle-grinder from the cave identified starch grains attributable to oats in a context dated to about 32,600 years ago.

🪐 “JUPITER” — A Quiet Seat on Jupiter — Millo, Trnava, Slovakia 🇸🇰
A barefoot figure in blue sits on a huge orange Jupiter above a tightly drawn black-and-white city. Aircraft, clouds and looping roads surround the planet, filling the apartment gable from its base to the roof.
Millo painted “JUPITER” on the apartment building at Hospodárska 3610/50. Slovakia Street-Art Festival’s account credits Zaži v Trnave, the city’s municipal cultural centre, with the project, part of its Galéria ulice programme. The organisers connect the scene to travel and discovery while remaining connected to one’s roots and home.
💡 Nerd Fact: The apartment blocks on Hospodárska Street are named after planets. Millo’s choice of Jupiter therefore refers to the neighbourhood’s existing naming scheme.

🐼 A Panda Asks for More Love — Nuno Miles
A seated panda holds a broad paintbrush and a wooden sign reading “Mais amor por favor” — “More love, please.” Carefully shaded fur, rounded paws and a cast shadow make the animal project from the peeling wall. In Nuno Miles’s original post, the appeal is for empathy and kindness without expecting something in return.

💀 A Skull Splits Into Metallic Faces — Drik the Villain, Emden, Germany 🇩🇪
A central skull opens into a row of metallic faces, their segmented silver-blue surfaces blurring at either side. Blue wireframe grids curve around the heads against a nearly black wall.
Drik the Villain shared the finished wall after Hit the Trog in August 2026. The event’s walls are at Am Tonnenhof in Emden.

🎺 Louis Armstrong Blows a Chrome Trumpet — Ceser87, Naples, Italy 🇮🇹
Louis Armstrong raises a gleaming trumpet against a saturated red field. The instrument’s tubing twists into letters, its enlarged bell filling the right side while a black record floats above the musician’s hands.
Ceser87 identifies the mural as a Louis Armstrong tribute, painted for Back to the Style Graffiti Jam at Parco San Laise in Naples.
💡 Nerd Fact: In 1964, Louis Armstrong’s recording of Hello, Dolly! displaced the Beatles at the top of the pop charts. The hit came almost four decades after he began making records under his own name in 1925.

🌅 A Thoughtful Figure Among Sunset Colors — Ajax Piper, Kingston upon Thames, UK 🇬🇧

🧢 “No time to Land” — A Monochrome Profile in Cobalt Blue — Mister Oreo39, Bucharest, Romania 🇷🇴

Mister Oreo39’s “No time to Land” was painted for Streetwise in Bucharest. The artist describes the title as a reflection on constant travel: enjoying painting in new places while rarely having time to settle anywhere.

🔥 “The Fire Goddess” — A Portrait Crowned With Flame — The Color Wizard, Portland, Maine, USA 🇺🇸
Orange flames flare from the sides of a woman’s red hair against dark brick. Turquoise light crosses her face and neck, contrasting with the glowing curls and metallic ornament at her shoulder.
At 14 feet wide and 16 feet high, “The Fire Goddess” was the artist’s largest portrait at the time. The Color Wizard used spray paint over black exterior primer on the side of the building at 91 Cove Street, next to Cove Street Arts.

🟡 A Neon Figure Offers an Eyeball — Tox M, St. Louis, Missouri, USA 🇺🇸

🎤 Mick Jagger in Stark Black and White — Stocke Artworks
Mick Jagger’s face fills a low wall in sharply modeled black and white. His parted lips, visible teeth and shadowed eyes fill the close-up beneath the roofline. Stocke introduced this portrait as the first in a two-week painting challenge, returning to realism through portraits of both famous and unfamiliar faces.
