Montane Mansion (海山樓) is one of five linked residential blocks on King’s Road in Quarry Bay, together nicknamed the Monster Building: Montane Mansion, Oceanic Mansion, Fook Cheong Building, Yick Cheong Building and Yick Fat Building. The complex was begun in the early 1960s as Parker Estate (百嘉新邨); after the original developer disappeared it was finished by other developers and sold from the early 1970s. The five blocks hold 2,243 flats with shops on the street front. Today it is still a lived-in private estate and a popular spot for photography. Source Source Source Source Checked
